ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or hold permanent resident status; Nominee does not need to be ACA (American Correctional Association) member but must be nominated by an ACA member; Nominee is a Minority pursuing a career in criminal justice and accepted into an undergraduate program at a 4 yr College or University; Demonstate financial need, academic achievement & committment to the principles of Dr. King.

​COMPLETE ENTRY REQUIRES: Complete Nomination form; Proof of acceptance at a 4yr College or University; Proof of Financial need (example last page of FAFSA loan application); Proof of academic achievement; Short essay (250 words, double-spaced) describing your reflection on the ideals & philosophies of Dr. Martin Luther King and how you have attempted to emulate these qualities in your life.
